We were asked to work on a unique project recently. I have a customer who has a passion for all things vintage! For years now, he has dreamed of owning a vintage Faema E61 espresso machine. He was able to acquire a 1964 machine in relatively good condition. There were a few issues with the unit and among them was a leaking group head. We dismantled it, soaked it to remove scale and coffee residue and polished the metal. We also installed all new parts to completely rebuild the the upper portion. The machine is working great and our customer is happily brewing Traditional Dark daily! Here are a few photos of the breakdown and the final rebuild. If you have any questions regarding a project like this please email us!
